Downtown San Antonio
It only makes sense to kick off things with the heart of San Antonio – Downtown/RiverWalk. The major attraction here is the Alamo, which brings Texas History to life. Other sites include Hemisfair Park and the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
Alamo Heights Map
Alamo Heights is an affluent neighborhood in San Antonio. Its best features are its beautiful homes, top-rated schools, and proximity to cultural institutions. The cherry on top is that it’s also home to the San Antonio Zoo and the Witte Museum.
The Pearl District Map
The Pearl District is a revitalized historic industrial area. It’s also a culinary hub with a popular farmers market. Popular attractions are Hotel Emma and the Culinary Institute of America’s San Antonio campus.
King William Historic District
Fun fact, this neighborhood is named after King Wilhelm I of Prussia, dating back to the 1800s. It’s one of the oldest historic neighborhoods in Texas. The King William Fair happens every year in April and usually kicks off with a parade.
San Antonio Riverwalk
Spanning 15 miles, the Riverwalk is a network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River. Our map shows you the downtown portion of the famous San Antonio Riverwalk. And it’s not so distant from the nearby “The Alamo”.
Stone Oak Map
Stone Oak is a master-planned community in the northern part of the city. It’s one of the newer neighborhoods. It features a top country club, scenic trails and all beautiful homes.
Southtown Map
This is another exciting neighborhood. This one has more of an artsy feel to it. Local artists fuel this neighborhood. It also hosts the San Antonio Art Walk, which is the city’s longest-running artwalk.
Monte Vista Map
This is one of the oldest and largest historic districts in the U.S. This neighborhood features well-preserved homes from the late 19th century. One advantage is that it’s also near Trinity University.
Olmos Park Map
Not a lot of people talk about Olmos Park. But this independent municipality is entirely surrounded by San Antonio. This affluent enclave has beautiful homes, its own police force, and is in a secluded yet central location.
